I never thought I would want a Purple car. Officially, it's called Amethyst, but like the quartz gem of the same name, it is purple. Really purple. And it is beautiful. It probably won't be the last, but this is the first color that has inspired me to write a blog post. I just can't get enough of it. In today's world of Black, White, and (for the more adventurous car buyers) Grey, this one really stands out from the crowd in an incredibly unique way. The color is rich and sumptuous and changes in every angle and every different lighting situation. Depending on where and when you see it, it will range from a deep metallic Black to a Bright and flashy Purple. Do I sound obsessed? I am. This Amethyst Metallic Panamera GTS has gotten me absolutely mesmerized. I still have not been able to walk past it without stopping in front of it for a quick moment of admiration. Hats off to Porsche for giving us such an incredible color and for Beverly Hills Porsche for acquiring it.
I tried getting some good shots and a video of it but these photos do not do it justice. This car has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Once you can finally take your eyes off the exterior color, you look inside and see the Black Leather and Alcantara Adaptive Sport Seats, the Carbon Fiber Accents, and the leather dash and inserts; the Stitching! Then you start it up and immediately remember it's a GTS with Porsche's incredible Sport Exhaust and your ears all of a sudden are as happy as your eyes. And you haven't even driven it yet. The second you do is when you realize why you only need three letters to describe this car: O.M.G.
